Widowed Persons Service of Rapid City is a TAX-EXEMPT, NON-PROFIT organization funded entirely by memorials, gifts and donations. All donations are tax deductible. If you would like to make a donation to Widowed Persons Service of Rapid City, please download, fill out and mail the following form. A receipt will be provided.

Fundraising Events:
WPS has been assisting the Rapid City RUSH Hockey League for the past 5 years.
WPS volunteers assist with sales in the gift shop during each home game. This is a wonderful opportunity for our organization by providing funds for grief support resources. This activity also allows our members the opportunity to get out of the house and become involved with a community event while making new friends and developing a strong support system.
We need 3-4 people per game, 2 cashiers, 1 door person and sometimes an extra person in training to learn the process and help with merchandise bagging.

Other Fundraising:
Rushmore Plaza Civic Center - ticket taking and and ushering guests. From time to time, the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center requests help with their events. When volunteer assistance is needed the information will be posted here.
Donate your proceeds from your 2nd hand items sold at Pac Rat Palace in Rapid City to WPS. As you clean out your closet, take them to Pac Rat Palace. Ask for the proceeds to go to Acct Q480--Widowed Persons Service
